I have noticed that I have received a few emails from people whose email address is @yahoogroup.com as opposed to the usual @yahoo.com. I would like to know what is the difference between the two.
What is the difference between having an email account with yahoo vs. yahoogroups?
Yahoo groups are formed by people with a like interest. I belong to a couple, one for my family members to share photos easily and post 1 message which can be read by many and another with graduates from my high school. If you choose to have a weekly update of postings, it comes from whatever@yahoogroups.com If you get mail from somebody@yahoo.com, this is an individual's private email address.
