I have a large group that is divided into subgroups. I made a group for each subgroup. Now I want the ability to email everyone at one time. So I want a group made up of all my subgroups and I'm getting an error. Yahoo is not reconizing it's own email addresses!!!
How do I add a YahooGroups email address to another Group?
One Yahoo! Group will not recognize the email address of another Yahoo! group.

I don't think you can add the Yahoo! group address to your Yahoo! ID profile (your are limited to only 5 address in a profile anyway).
Sounds like you made it too complicated.
I am a member of 40 + groups and own/moderate a few.
If I want to send an email address to any or all of the groups I belong to, I just add that group email address to my message.
Sounds like you could create a distribution list within your email ISP to hit one list and send a message to all your subgroups all at once.
Okay, check your sub-groups to insure you have access to them.
You can do this easily by going to the following link:
Go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/
- Login with the email address you used to join the group(s).
- At the bottom of the links - click on "View All"
- The "View Groups" tab will come up (default)
If you want to make and changes:
- Click on the "Edit My Groups" tab.
- From there you can change your Message Delivery or Leave [the] Group .
- Don't forget to hit the blue Save Changes button if you make any changes.
Now you have verified that you have access to all your subgroups. You are all set to email from from your regular email.
I hope this helps in some way.
